Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone caring for a Loved One with dementia. If you are caring for a family member, or close friend, then this course is for you. This course provides practical information to help you better interact with, and care for someone with dementia on a day to day basis, as well as plan for future concerns such as legal, financial, etc. This course is NOT intended for healthcare training or education.

You should buy this course if you don’t know where to start after a Loved One is diagnosed with dementia. There are six video modules in this course, each one is 40 – 60 minutes long.

MODULE 4 – How do you speak to someone when what they “hear” sounds like a foreign language? This module covers spoken and written communication, we well as alternative methods to communicate and stay connected.

MODULE 5 – Rest, relaxation, nutrition and other acts of self renewal are essential. This module covers the why and how of caring for yourself, in order to better care for another.

MODULE 6 – No one can do it all alone. Some see the Dementia Journey as one of the silent suffering but you are part of a BeautyFull community. This final course module covers resources from the national to the local level, government to faith-based.
